FIACAFI is the Ibero-American and African Film, Audiovisual, Education, and Creative Industries Festival. Held biennially, the festival is a multicultural innovation platform connecting over 40 countries and 34 cities. Our focus is on celebrating the diversity of the Global South, acting as a hub that coordinates cinema, education, and the market to strengthen the narratives of historically underrepresented groups.
It is one of the festival's core pillars, dedicated to screening audiovisual works from Francophone member countries and their diasporas. This competitive showcase celebrates intercultural dialogue and the linguistic and aesthetic plurality of these territories.
Applications are open until April 30th at 11:59 PM.

It is our competitive showcase focused on cinematographic works produced or co-produced in Latin America, Africa, and Europe. The focus is on innovative aesthetics and narratives by Black, Indigenous, women, LGBTQIA+ filmmakers, and other marginalized groups.
